I LOVE MY TEACHERS
Being a student of many teachers makes us realize that there is no teacher that is perfect, even the Prophet sallalLaahu 'alaihi wa sallam made small mistakes where Allah Himself corrected him and He made his sins all forgiven.
Thus, when some people start criticizing one of our teachers, we should just respond alHamdu lilLah, that just proves he is a normal human being.
And still the benifits we gained from him outweight the mistakes.
What would be weird and awkward is when one see a human being free from mistake, be it any ustaz or syaikhs.
Therefore, there's no need to get all heated up over some mistakes done especially when it has been told, checked, corrected and apologised.
Only Allah is the Most Perfect. And He is free of mistake. While we sons of Adam, are never free from mistakes, and the best of us are those who recognises the mistakes and seek repentance from it.
Another good lesson is for us to have more and more teachers as we will be able to get to know more and compare more and fill up the gaps more and learn the adab more, and thus completes us from a whole lot different ways and perspectives.
May Allah grant us all patience and humility in the journey of seeking knowledge.
May Allah hide the shortcomings and personal mistakes of our teachers from being seen and hated.
May Allah grant us the strength and consistency in practicing and sharing the knowledge gained.
May Allah gather us together at the highest level of paradise, alFirdaus.
Ameen.
